Tyson Properties will soon be opening another branch in the Durbanville area. To date, we are a team of 10 agents working from our Western Seaboard office until the Northern Suburbs office gets launched. We focus on a vast variety of areas within the Northern Suburbs – each agent specializing in their particular farming zone, ensuring maximum exposure and availability to buyers and sellers ready to invest.

Walter Steckel is leading the team in the Northern Suburbs and he answers some key questions below that buyers and sellers might want to consider when purchasing property in the area.

1. When purchasing a home in the Northern Suburbs, what are the most important factors to consider?

In my opinion, when purchasing a home in the Northern Suburbs, you would want to make sure that the property is surrounded by good schools, shopping facilities and ideally in a secure estate for extra peace of mind.

2. In your opinion, how do the current market conditions affect those looking to purchase a home?

The current market conditions are very favorable to buyers as the interest rates are the lowest they have been in many years, meaning that buyers can now suddenly afford their dream, preferred home that they may not have been able to when the interest rates were still up.

3. Which of your current sole mandates in the area are your favorite and why?

My most favorite sole mandate is the one recent one I got in Longwood Estate, Pinehurst. It is probably my most favorite property because of the location it is in and also the specs the home offers. It is very spacious, with chic finishes and just the ideal family residence.

4. Why should people buy in the Northern Suburbs?

The Northern Suburbs is known as a very close community with very friendly residents and it is also known as a very safe area for families to live in. Investing in the NS will be a very wise move for any buyer to take as this suburb is fast growing and soon will be the next Atlantic Seaboard. In the NS you have a variety of homes and can be part of the investor buyer and also purchase a home to live in with your family.
