We are excited to introduce you to our latest member of the team, Robin Fourie, who recently joined Tyson Properties Western Seaboard as a real estate agent. Robin will be focusing on the Blouberg Sands and West Beach areas.
Please give us an introduction and background of yourself.
I’m originally from the heart of the Free State and was born in Bloemfontein where I completed my school and varsity years. I come from a family rooted in the construction industry and had the privilege of obtaining my honours degree in Quantity Surveying at the University of the Free State.
I’m an avid long-distance runner and I love spending my early mornings on the roads of Bloubergstrand and West Beach. I absolutely love working with and meeting new people and learning from every individual that I cross paths with. I firmly believe that knowledge is power, so I love educating myself through reading and researching anything that comes to mind or prickles my curiosity.

How did your career in the Real Estate industry start?
My husband joined Tyson Properties and ever since seeing how much he enjoyed it made me realize that I definitely needed more excitement in my choice of career. Working as a Quantity Surveyor has given me a great background and knowledge of the built environment, but I truly love working with people. So, becoming a real estate agent was the perfect change I needed to continue my career in the built environment while combining it with my passion for working with people.
Why did you choose to join Tyson Properties?
I’ve always generalized real estate agencies and to me they were all the same, until I was introduced to Tyson Properties. I chose this brand not only because of my husband, but because it’s a young and vibrant company with so much to offer and so much determination and hunger to succeed. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service and leaving a positive mark everywhere we go in this industry. Tyson Properties makes me proud to call myself a real estate agent because of the pure professionalism and way we learn how to deal with clients.
Tell us more about the area that you are selling in.
My focus is on Blouberg Sands and West Beach. These areas are situated perfectly in the heart of the West Coast. They offer a wide variety of properties from apartments, townhouses, free-standing family homes to large and luxurious mansions with some of the best views money can buy. These suburbs are close to all the needed amenities including Netcare Blaauwberg Hospital, Table Bay and Bayside Mall, Seaside Village, exceptional beachfront restaurants, amazing schools and last but not least, the beach.
What advice can you give to buyers and sellers in the area?
My best advice would be that timing is everything. Whether you’re buying or selling in West Beach and Blouberg Sands, choosing the right time to market or buy a property is essential. As an agent, we understand the market, so don’t be afraid to get in touch and allow me to guide you through it.
